There are two reasons to maintain a Bible reading journal.

 

1)    A journal provides a great method for responding to the Word of God. Reading is not enough. We must respond to the Bible in prayer and in action.

2)    A journal provides a record of what God has been speaking to you about.  Over time, you will notice trends in what God has shown you through His Word.
