Thank you for visiting the Evangelical Bible Church online. Finding a church can be difficult. Thus, we have designed this website to be as clear and above board as possible in order to give you a clear picture of who we are. Our desire is that the information on this site will be helpful to you. If you have any further questions, please contact the Evangelical Bible Church at (701) 227-1464 or email ebc4c@dickinsonebc.com.  Perhaps we will see you in person someday!

“If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:25)

What characterizes a man or woman of God? We all know that we are not born as men and women of God. We must be “born-again” to begin our relationship with God. It is God who begins the process of regeneration. For some it happens quickly, for others they come along more slowly. But all of us know that we will never “arrive” until we get to glory. But to get back to the question I began with, I believe three things give evidence of a man or woman of God. The first evidence is one who prays to God continually (regularly). Second, the desire to be an Ezra 7:10 man or woman: “For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the Lord, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel.” Just think what would happen if every man or woman would be devoted to the study of God’s Word and then lived it (being obedient to what God has spoken). I believe then that the words repeated often in Ezra 7 would be the case for each of us:“For the hand of the Lord was on him”(Ezra). Third, let me restate the above verse as recorded in a different version: “Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” What would happen if we truly followed the leading of the Holy Spirit? Mark Batterson’s answer would be: “One thing is certain: life will be anything but boring.”
